Mitchell Theatre

Mitchell is a public high school in Colorado Springs School District 11, located in the heart of Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

We offer five year long classes- beginning, intermediate and advanced acting, as well as stage craft and technical theatre. All classes are project based and start with the basics to move up from there. 

After school, we produce an annual mainstage play and musical, as well as operate our International Thespian Troupe. 

Our after school and class thespians attend and compete at Colorado's annual Thespian Conference (ThesCon).

We're a fun loving and passionate group who love to celebrate all things theatre. 

We strive to provide a theatre program that:

• provides a safe space for individuals to express themselves 

• works as a team to think creatively and problem solve while building empathy for others

• produces a variety of performance art that entertains, challenges, and educates our students and our audiences
